Hybrid Cloud and Data Center in the general economy

In the new digital age, the Data Center has become a vital and constantly evolving element. Trends such as Hybrid Cloud, Industry 4.0, Big Data or the new 5G networks directly impact the storage, process and connectivity needs of the Data Center. Managing from the production of energy to the virtualization of IT infrastructures determines the level of efficiency of the new production center of digital organizations.



enerTIC, the Technology and Innovation Platform for the improvement of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, which has the support of major industry players such as Telefonica, Gas Natural Fenosa, Fujitsu, Microsoft, Oracle, Schneider Electric, Global Switch, Ericsson, Quark and Equinix Itconic, among others, promotes a specific area of ​​Solutions for Corporate Data Centers within the framework of the Smart Energy Congress & Expo 2018, in collaboration with the asLAN Association, on April 11 and 12 at the Municipal Conference Center of Madrid.

The Corporate Data Center area will have a specific conference room and a speaker corner in the EXPO zone. Among the confirmed speakers, responsible for Data Centers, are: Carlos Cordero, CTO of Fujitsu Technology Solutions; Juan Carlos Bonache, IT Director of Caixabank; Patricia Rodríguez, Data Center Manager of Repsol; Pablo Carlier, Head of Engineering at Google Cloud; Jorge Oteo, CIO of Vocento; and Javier Cantero, IT Infrastructure Manager at Gas Natural Fenosa.

In addition to the EXPO, enerTIC is working with all the stakeholders in the definition of the Smart Energy Congress Conference Program, which in this new edition will be presented under the title "Digital Transformation, leading Energy Efficiency", and will discuss the role of the technology and innovation for the improvement of energy efficiency in other areas besides the Smart Data Center: Smart Cities, Smart Energy, Industry 4.0.
